Sano Bungo, a local policeman of Otousu Village was convicted for poisoning 21 elementary students in 1989. Shin was not even born yet when the incident took place. The case turns his family of 5 into a mess. The wife changes their name into Tamura and erases Sano Bungo from the children's memory.
After 31 years, Tamura Shin still burdened by it. Although his father never confessed the crime, he's been living with the mentality of a murderer son. It was his wife who convinces him to look up the case because she believes the father-in-law is innocent. She notices several strange incidents precedes the poisoning case.
Shin decides to visit Otousu Village. The village had been abandoned, but Shin suddenly travels back to the past, in 1989. He jumps to time exactly before the strange cases occur. He is determined to reveal the truth, and save everyone.

Erased. Time travel is not every season's serving in Japan, unlike in China. While China loves romanticizing time travel and blends it in a complicated love story, Japan often focuses on family cases, fixing the relationship, or prevent murder case. It's not that Japan never made romance time travel story, though. The only one I remember is Proposal Daisakusen, which will be remade by China, too.
Do the producers love watching Takeryo with baby? I surely do. He has been playing father for couple times now. Do you think he looks older? They pair him with Juri (or is Juri looks so young? perhaps the later). I also love the other cast: Ando Masanobu (hope he gets more lines than in Anaban); Kanjiya Shihori (love love her); Ryusei Ryo (very suspicious XD).
So, I guess I'll be watching this.
