Tadakuni (Suda Masaki), Hidenori (Yoshizawa Ryo) and Yoshitake (Nomura Shuhei) live their high school life with carelessly until the school decide to pull a joint school’s festival between all-boys and all-girls high schools. For them who’d never experience dealing with girl before, this could be a dangerous mission. Girls are mysterious creature. They are cute, but also fierce. Take Tadakuni’s sister for example. She hits him violently when the boys try her skirt because they are curious about it. lol.
Okay, the girls are coming to Sanada North High School to have festival’s preparation. The boys are nervously welcoming them. They even transform a male toilet into girl’s with various accessories they thought girl would love. *this part is so funny, I swear*
There’s this one girl that attract Tadakuni’s attention. In order to observe her closely, he applies to student’s council’s festival team. He once overhears the girl said she wanted to see haunted house. Thus, he builds one with his classmate. However, their creation is not so good. On the other hand, the girls’ cafe becomes hit. Aaaah, now the boys feel more and more inferior.
At the same time, Yoshitake realizes that the girl working in convenient store they regularly visit is so cute. Without trying to lose his coolness, Yoshitake secretly leaves the school festival's pamphlet, hoping she would drop by.
Hidenori himself already have a quiet girl he likes. This girl is a book worm whom he always meet on the beach. Though it’s embarassing, Hidenori invites her to check the festival. Will she come?
Boys are very stupid and girls are noisy, ha? I’m glad I didn’t watch the anime (the art was ugly), but this live action movie is really funny. The way these boys try to appeal on the young ladies are awesome. Their innocence is precious.

ReplyDeleteThe anime is a very rare anime these days because it is way too funny than the live action plus the story is presented great eventhough there is no much effects and NO FANSERVICE!!!! Secondly, I prefer the Hidenori and Literary Girl scenes in anime than how he was with that bookworm girl the live action.
ReplyDeleteThe student council is not complete in this movie. Where is Motoharu? No Motoharu means no Motoharu's older sister. The president is also not casted. Ringo chan is shown cute and humble in nature which is the opposite what it was in the anime. Extra characters are also added. I would have liked it more if it was shown as it was in the anime.
