18 years ago, three 5th graders were killed. 2 of them were Fujinuma Satoru's classmates and the nice guy from neighborhood is accused as culprit. After 18 years, Fujinuma's mother remembers the case very well and even suspects a strange man on the parking lot to be the serial killer. That evildoer recognizes her, too. That night, she's killed and the crime is pinned to Satoru.

Trying to fix this, 29 years old Fujinuma Satori returns to the time when he was 5th grade. He tries to protect his classmates and save the innocent man from being trapped in other's crime. This becomes a brain duel between Satoru and the culprit. As Satoru manages to save one girl, the culprit sets another girl as target. Will Satoru able to change history and save those people he care about?
Lots  doubts Furukawa Yuki's acting, but despite following the same plot with the movie, he brings more positive Satoru. When I saw Tatsuya Fujiwara's Satoru it feels like the world is done. But, Yuki's Satoru is shining like he has hope to world.

Yuki Mio is very cute playing enthusiastic high schooler. I like that she fits her character's which has 11 years age gap with Satoru. I definitely choose her over Kasumi.

But, who's the most handsome here? of course, Jinjin who portrays Satoru's childhood friend, Kobayashi Kenya. Young Kenya is a bit arrogant and chubby, but he turns to be shining prince Jinjin. hahaha. I'm so biased but I've never seen him this handsome in another show.

This is the most beautiful dorama I ever seen. It's much more beautiful than the movie. The point, the scenery, even the casts are all beautiful. This! If only japanese film maker makes more like this.... So, Overal, this adaptation is much friendlier and easier to chew than the movie.
