Walk into your memory

Pain is the desire to forget, not to remember
An Ning has the ability to see people's memory. Her freak boss, Long Hao Qian asks her to look into his forgotten memory. He had an accident 10 years ago, which cause him temporary amnesia and a disgust syndrome toward women. Generous An Ning is willing to help him retrieve that memory because she thought it would mean a lot. However, Long Zi Teng starts using her to gain business' advantage.
This could be complicated story as An Ning often had philosophical contemplation. I found her insights so relatable to our daily life. That’s one point for the drama.

The male character is actually just 25 years old, but he looks older. XD. Still cute though. And it helps to have Cecilia Boey as partner. She’s very Kpop idol look. Not a fan, but she’s okay. You know the reason I’m picking this series is for Jiang Cheng—I mean Wang Zhuo Cheng (who made great appearance in The Untamed). He plays sunshine rich boy who choose to be chef. The role is typical where he use money to seduce girls, but eventually fall to the most unmaterialistic (with debt problem) girl. She’s not pretty, though, but I’m happy Jiang Cheng finally gets girl. XD.
Nah, let’s talk about what’s missing from this. It’s very good at placing conflict, but forget to show us how to deal with them. Like when An Ning’s colleagues, Nana made her father mad because she’s dating a chef. The father secretly arranged her dowry but caught in accident on his way home. Nana blamed her boyfriend for that. But, the next day they’re holding wedding ceremony. Wouldn’t it be nice if they could explore how to mend the relationship between these three?

Also, it’s so easy for Long Hao Qian to accept An Ning. They started bickering at first episode. Even in the second episode he didn’t let her sit on front seat of his car. But, she eventually promoted to be seated next to him on the 5th episode. So fast. I need more angst! Hahhahahaha

Still, this cute story should be enough to entertain in the weekend. Have a try!
