| Cast: William Chan Weiting | Lin Yun
A never-ending war in the prairie causing Temujin to lose his father and tribe members at a very young age. His family must flee and leave his childhood sweetheart, Borte, but promising he would return for her.
On his last battle, Temujin father killed a lord named Kuchlug. His wife, Dohai, exchanges her soul to demon king and let Kuchlug revive, thus become immortal. However, the price is very expensive. Dohai loses her conscious and can only be treated if they can find holy blood. Kuchlug spends years finding a woman carrying the blood.
Time passes by and Temujin finally coming back to propose Borte. On their wedding night, Kuchlug attacks Borte's village, as he's convinced she had the precious blood. Borte surrenders to avoid her people being slandered. Temujin follows the evil king to save his wife.
Well, the movie is not as grand as I expected. I thought it would be about bravery and nation's sacrifice, but it's only a husband trying to rescue his woman. So simple. XD. In addition, they put lesser effort on fighting scenes. It can't even be helped by poor CGI. Gosh, whyyyy????
I should've known this is a failure as soon as I see William Chan's hair. He doesn't look good in long hair. In fact, he only looks stunning as Fo Ye (yeah, I'm so biassed). While Lin Yun...well, I'm not convinced to dub her as the prettiest girl, but she's okay. She looks too young acting with William. Shouldn't they choose a younger actor? In another thought, the producer must bet on William Chan's masculinity and charisma to live the character.
