The Works is an organisation consists of international thieves under command of an old millionaire named Dawson. This guy favour Lupin III the most for being the grandson of Arsene Lupin. But, one day, a young thief, Michael Lee starts coup d’etat and steal Cleopatra’s necklace from Dawson’s vault. Dawson that night and Michael’s gone missing for a year.
While tracking Michael’s trace, Lupin is caught by the interpol, Inspector Zenigata. The cop wants Lupin to help him take Thailand’s millionaire-but also underground thief- named Pramuk. At the same time, Michael has make contact with Pramuk to sell cleopatra’s necklace.
Well, well, I think we’re need to take a lot of deep breathe considering how amazing the casts are. They are looking 100 times more beautiful than the original manga. XD. Jerry Yan is so amazing with those facial hair. I haven't seen him for years (in fact, I only watched Meteor Garden. lol), and look how hot he becomes today.
The story itself is also saver for public, unlike the manga and anime which I rate 18+. Lupin is so charming here, I kinda questioning why Fujiko keeps rejecting him. I understand if he looks like the one in the manga, so ugly. haha. But, it’s Shun! It changes a lot of deals.
The most amazing thing about this international movie is that they serve multi languages and of course we need to watch it with english sub, because some actors’ english is funny.
