Kenshin survives and strands in island where he meets his old master, Seijuro Hiko. Still worried about Kaoru's,Kenshin realizes he lacks of lot of things to defeat Shishio.  The master once again train him to find his composure. 

While Kenshin's away, the government makes deal with Shishio and puts Kenshin on the wanted list.  Shishio wants Kenshin feels the way he betrayed by the government long time ago.
