The president of pharmaceutical company, Nobata Kei is all about experiments and observation. One of his researcher accidentally found a drug that can cause temporary dead. Nobata is seduced by his managing officer, Watanabe, to try it. But, it’s all just his tactic to avoid Nobata standing in the way of merging the company with competitor.
Watanabe relies the death notion to Nobata’s daughter, Nanase. The father and daughter has been in bad term after Nanase’s mother passed away. Even so, Nanase can’t believe his father would kill himself that easy. Nanase teams up with employee Matsuoka Taku to reveal the conspiracy and stop Watanabe from killing her father for good.
Human always regret later. They always realize it too late. Nanase and her father were always in good terms because she thought the father didn’t care about her mother. The truth is he’s feeling guilty every single day of his life for unable to create drug to save his wife. We’re all grieving in different ways. Hating his father is Nanase’s way to deal with her loss.
This is such a warm family story. Cute and funny. Suzu and Oryo are cute, although i don’t think the kiss in the end is necessary (oops, sorry, spoiler). Also, look at these ikemen, appearing for 5 seconds in the movie...
