The Blooms At Ruyi Pavilion

After guarding the border since he was 12, Prince Su (Xu Jin) is returned to the capital. He’s there to report the corruption of soldier ration. Emperor wants him to dig further and gives him chance to lead Imperial Soldier so he can eradicate corruption practice in the country. He’s bond to offense a lot of big name, resulting multiple murder attempt of him.

The assasinations take chance everywhere, including in a cultural party. Lucky the second daughter of magistrate Fu, Fu Rong saw the mishap and save Xu Jin. Although he suspects her as assassins for couple times, they begin to entangled in various cases. Fu Rong is cute and witty. It’s hard for Xu Jin to not falling for her. 

However, she has ability to foresee future through her dream. She knew they’re going to fall in love, even got married. But, that would be the beginning of all misfortunes. Her life would turn into hell. 

Can’t help to compare this to Legend of Yun Xi seeing so similar casts. So, let me point some:

1. Xu Jin is much merrier than Long Fei Ye. 

2. Wang You Shuo gets to pair with decent lady. I love Wu Bai Qi x Fu Xian pair. They are matched.

3. Guan ge is the cutest.

4. Is this a low-budget show? Because most people had rough make up. It makes ugly girl uglier (*CoughXiHeCough*). But, they put a lot of effort to filter Fu Rong and Xu Jin, though. Hmmm...

5. Love triangle just like in LoYX, but the second ML is dark and gloomy. Even though he’s smiling toward Fu Rong, he’s full of revenge aura. LYC’s role is pretty much different than in I’ve Fallen For You. 

6. All the Emperor’s princess are ugly except for Xu Jin. Whyyyyy???? Just to represent their evil heart?whuah, even Xu Jin’s little brother from the same mother is not comparable to him.
