Jing Qi’s mother was assassinated when she was pregnant. 5 years after that, her old maid wanted to revenge the assassins by kidnapping her baby daughter to kill. But, Jing Qi refused by reasoning the baby was innocent and shouldn’t be blamed for her parent’s sin. He gives her name Feng Mian Wan. They live together as master and servant for 18 years, slowly realizing that they both share special feelings.
However, general from the neighbor country took a liking of Mianwan. The marriage could help strengthen the diplomatic relationship between two lands. Jing Qi comes with an idea to let her go.
I watch this for Chen Yu Qi. Gosh, she’s so pretty and she acts in such pretty scenes. Her character is a bit similar to the one she played in Princess Weiyoung, although she’s just a maid. But, having Alan Yu spoiling her is really cute. Aaaah, my heart.
Even so, I notice the lack of humor in the two first episodes. It's sad because the comedy is really an important aspect to keep me watching. I hope things get more interesting in the next episodes.
