Li Xiao has been dreaming of becoming a fashion editor at the famous magazine, RESA. However, she's not recruited even after joining their internship program. She does receive an invitation to work in literary, but it's the proofreading department. The chief persuades her to accept the job as a stepping stone because she might be able to transfer to Resa.
Unlike Resa, the proofreading department is boring and plain work. But, Li Xiao decides to give her best shot. She's not afraid to speak her mind, even though her suggestion might endanger relationship between publisher and author.
Li Xiao doesn't even like reading, but she put herself as the reader. She pays attention to the simple thing that might make people confuse. Sometimes, literary words are beautiful, but often hard to understand. The writer is often drown in his/her own world, forgetting that they're writing for other people. This is why (editor &) proofreading is important job. They bridge the writer's thought into a readable product.
This is the remake of Ishihara Satomi's Jimi ni Sugoi. The difference in length makes a difference in the way the story told, although the idea is intact. Satomi is great in fussy character, but An YueXi is a bit too calm for that. As for her love interest, I feel that Xing Zhaolin makes a perfect match with An YueXi. His character is young, but he doesn't look that young (on the contrary, An Yuexi doesn't look too old, right?). On the other hand, Sudacchi is just a brat standing next to Satomi.
The character of the second female lead are both annoying for me. So, we don't have to talk about them. Both personally and as the character are not my cup of tea.

Buuuut, Munetaka Aoki (Tako) and Cheng HaoFeng (Wu Yu) are both playing perfect annoying yet adorable roles. Although I wanted Tako to be paired with Satomi in the original dorama, the Chinese version beautifully avoids any chance for that pair. Probably because the huge age gap everyone can notice. Or because Wu Yu is showing so much love towards Xia Fan. The audience is already led to set there are two pairs in this show.
