Higashide Masahiro
Unpopular idol Kurobara Junko is hired to be police commissioner for a day in rural area. She accidentally found a dead body. The M.O. resembles current serial killing. The serial killing is currently investigated byDetective Todo from MPD. However, he’s not very sharp. Kurobara Junko helps him cracking the case.
Kurobara Junko is an interesting character. She tries to look like an angel for her idol image, but the truth is she always jealous of other idols and schemes the evil thing for them. Somehow Hamabe looks much more interesting this way. My impression about her is not so good. It was because of that Anohana movie. Her angel-like character annoys me, to the point I refuse to watch any of her movie. But, it seems she improved alot, since Sensei Kunshu (haven’t finish it, but probably will be able to watch it soon) and now I’m giving her new chance to impress. Hahahah
Playing Kurobara Junko’s partner is Higashide Masahiro which adorable in The Confidence Man JP. This Todo character is quite similar to Boku-chan. He’s not a bright detective, but quick in catching chances. Thus, he’s able to make use of Kurobara Junko and his juniors to climb the career path.
It’s only 3 episodes drama, but I think it deserves a full-length season series. The cases are simple and enough to entertain your weekend.
