This is the first time I write about a variety and I just have to because it’s too cool. It’s actually Chinese version of Produce101, a survival idol variety show in Korea. I’m not gonna poke into it, let’s just focus on this one.

Zhang Yixing is the producer. Along with 5 other celebrities, Yixing screens 100 trainees to be the members of an idol group. These young artists to be are categorized into 3 groups indicating their best skill: vocal, dance, and rap.

What's interesting about this competition is how they are positively interacting. Although they are rivals, they cooperate to bring out each person's best performance. Every time the polling announced, they hug, cheer, hold each other hands, giving encouragement. Yes, we can smell envy, but they respect talent. They accept that there are hard worker persons, the more skilled ones.

Also, this is not some kind of variety with stupid games. It actually covers the daily life of the trainees. Some are silly, some are touching, and other can be very very funny. I salute the writer to come up with every section. And don't forget the editors! This show's editing is crazy!! You'd have fun watching this unless you're not into boys with lipstick. haha. 

It's really hard to choose my favorite because most of these trainees are adorable. But, You Zhangjing is the one I watched a lot and again and again. Beautiful sound, cute face, have a variety of expression. He's great!
