| Cast: Sato Takeru | Ayano Go
Nagai Kei was hit by a car, but he revived instantly. That’s how he and public learns his identity as Ajin, immortal being. Kei is then taken to governmental facility and endured various experiments until terrorist Sato infiltrates the building and sets him free.
Sato is also Ajin and he’s enjoying the power. He wants to smash government for treating Ajin so inhumane. (The truth is he’s just a psychopath who enjoy killing). Nagai Kei stands up to stop him.
The first 20 minutes is boring as hell. Why do Sato need that long just to break in? I almost give up watching, but I’m still interested in watching Go kun. Take chan is a bit gloomy and looking old. He’s not the fresh guy I used to know. XD He needs more sawayaka roles and not to stuck in cool gloomy roles.
The idea should be similar to Tokyo Ghoul: Ajin never asked to be born/turned into one, yet government discriminate them. However, Ajin focuses on Sato’s psychotic drama, forget to touch my heart. There’s a psychological dilemma here which is should be great to exploit, but the director doesn’t even want to create a scene about it. You know, when Nagai should be asking “why me????” And “why do you do those cruel things to me?” He didn’t do anything wrong, yet government lock him as guinea pig. It’s not satisfying enough for me. I need more!!!!
However, I give full claps to the action director for showing such a dynamic action play. Blended with CG, it’s almost quite attractive to my eyes.
