Keiji Yugami

| Air: 2017.09.22 ~ 2012.12.07
| Episode: 10
| Cast: Asano Tadanobu | Kamiki Ryunosuke | Inamori Izumi

Detective Yugami has a unique way of solving the case. He's brilliant, and most of the time is too brilliant to comply with common sense. He pursues every clue without even bothering public's rule.
On the other hand, his partner, Hanyu Torao is the one who loves playing by the rule. His sense of diligence--sometimes is more like innocence. Torao is the kind of guy who seems to be able to adapt in every situation, thus he's more likable from superior perspective.

This weird mix creates a smart and funny show. I love how Asano Tadanobu plays a fool, even though Yugami is the one with the brain. While Kamiki tries to portray young detective who wants to look mature, but he's just as silly as his partner.

I know, we've seen a lot of detective dorama and frankly speaking the cases somehow look similar. I find it easy to guess the motives. But, what makes this series stand out is the strong characterization. It takes really really good actors to stab impression on viewers. Asano-san and Kamiki are those actors. Each individual doesn't rely on their partner to bring out the characteristics role.
