Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy

| Air: 2017.11.21~2018.01.04
| Episode: 75
| Cast: Huang Xuan | Dou Shou | Zhou Yiwei
The story revolves around 3 boys, each faces their own disasters. One had all his clan swept, the other was threw away from home since he was little, and the last is a prince but being kept away because his mother was not human. They all connected by one prophecy: Muyun Sheng will become emperor and turned the world into chaos. He's the 6th son of Emperor Duan whose mother is a charmer with enormous magical power. This identity makes people scared, pushing the emperor to seclude him in the palace.

This secret is kept tight, but there's always a way to get gossip out, even to the barren desert where Shuofeng Tribe lives poorly.  In order to protect the secret, Muru's Cavalry annihilated the entire clan, leaving the children sold as slaves. Shuofeng Heye, the clan's heir is also sold as fighter slave.  He manages to make friends with another fighter slave, Han Jiang. Han Jiang was abandoned by his father, the Great General Muru Shuo, because a shaman believed he would fight the throne with Muyun's descendant. Muru Shuo couldn't kill his third son, yet he can't ruin 500 years of Muru's family oath to protect Muyun's sovereign.
General Muru never expected that the emperor would keep Han Jiang and made him accompany Muyun Sheng. Han Jiang, then, becomes the half-charmers' prince' first friend. Seems like no matter how hard the adult keep them away, the three meet as friends. At this point, none of them believe they're gonna kill each other later.
Can’t help to yawn for a long dialogue scene, especially when the actors are not so nice looking. Haha. Some even not important and I even think not showing them are much better to give mystery to the story. Like the parts with Muyun De's. There are too many scenes of him trying to steal the crown. They should just focus on our three heroes. I love how each of their backstories set steadily.  The chosen actors are also perfect.

I've been meaning to watch any of Huang Xuan's show, but never managed it. I'm glad I finally enjoy him on a small screen. He has an exotic face that can calm people. On the other hand, Shawn Dou has a super sweet smile (the kind that can cause diabetic), but so good at playing a rebellious role. His bitter smile and eyes play showing his wound are top notched. While for Zhou Yiwei, this is the first time I heard his name. But, he's fit for the role of barbarians. He spread pheromone in a beast aura.

It's a long story and this note is made based on first 12 episodes so I might update this in the future. In the meantime, this worths my time.
