Tang Yibai was a prominent high school swimmer until he was accused of using a drug to improve his performance. As result, he’s suspended from any swimming competition for 4 years. Even so, he spends his 4 years practicing to be ready to return.
On the day of his first competition, he rescues an intern journalist who falls to the pool. The journalist, Yun Dou becomes his first interviewer. After series of encounters, they become attracted to each other. Can this relationship becomes energy for Tang Yibai or even distract him from his dream of becoming the fastest swimmer?
This is a sports drama that will pump your emotion. I can’t help screaming and yelling watching them compete.This is also a teen romance, with some slow motioned scenes to get your hearts pounding, the main romance is a bit normal. The love story between Tang Yibai and Yun Duo is kinda smooth. Of course, we have the second man crumbling the story, but it’s totally not so complicated.
This would be a normal boring story if it wasn’t for the second male lead, Qi Ruifeng (played by a cute actor named Huang Sheng Chi..never seen him in any drama before and I’m gonna start watching his works now). Qi Ruifeng is Tang Yibai’s best friend since high school. He’s narcissistic. But, it’s a term used by commoners. Psychologist won’t classify it as pathology as his traits fail to meet Narcissistic Personality Disorder in DSM V as he only loves himself so much. He loves to praise himself which actually important to maintain self-respect. Let’s be honest, we’re living in the world where people are reluctant to praise another people. So, instead of waiting for others to fill his needs, Qi Ruifeng self-fullfilled.

Watching such a grateful and lively character is an energy boost. Everyone needs to feel happy about themselves. Stop complaining, cursing, or regretting. This is your life and you’re only going to live it once. So, choose to be happy.
