Kohei and Maria have been married for few years. Kohei quitted his job to open cafe he dreamt for long, financing by his wife. However, the business doesn't go well and Kohei's loan proposal to Maria has been rejected. Kohei also falls into an affair with his business partner, Kitasato Anna. On the edge of their frustration, they design tricks to kill Maria. Anna suggests of using poison fused to wine.

However, when Kohei returns home that night, Maria has already disappeared. A note left notified that the wife has been kidnapped. The Kidnapper demands 200 million as the ransom for her life. 

Kohei is really happy that he can get rid of Maria without dirtying his own hands. Still, he needs to pretend like a good husband and calls the cop. Will Maria be saved? Who's the real killer? How would this incident affect their marriage life?

Boku no Yabai Tsuma is a thrilling drama with amazing casts. 

Taken light on cold marriage is really interesting because it revolves not only around adultery but also a crime. Watching this makes me wondering what's the point of being in marriage? It seems like broken marriage has been a popular theme this past few year. 

From my point of view, this is happening because both sides stop trying to seduce their spouse. As a result, they're slowly not feeling excited about their partner anymore. Can't blame one side only. Kohei turns into the affair because he can't stand his wife. On the hand, the wife seems unable to read his mood and accommodate his feeling.

However, Maria is a really amazing woman for taking such around way to punish her husband. She's a very stubborn one, also. Most woman would just let that unfaithful husband go. But, she chooses to torture him. Nice.
