Akiyama Tokuzo is a kid who loves to try lots of thing, but getting tired of of trying half ways. Tired and embarrassed by his son's irresponsible acts, Akiyama father decides to get him marry into another household. 

Tokuzo's wife is not as beautiful as he expected, but she's happy to have him. He starts to have new motivation working in his father-in-law's shop. 

One day, he encounters an army chef when he delivers goods to regiment's barrack. He makes delicious food Tokuzo never knew before. Tokuzo begins to visits him everyday, neglecting his work duty. Of course his father-in-law is really mad when he found out. Tokuzo, then, leaves home to Tokyo. He hopes to learn more about western food. But, will this just going to be his another short time euphoria?

I fell in love with the first episode of this dorama. There are kids who always make the parents worry, like Tokuzo and there are kids they can always rely on, like Shutaro.

Take chan shows amazing act, speaking in Osakaben.

The story should be tough, but the director blends comedy and melancholic scenes perfectly. I laugh, I cry and I nod watching this. Also getting hungry every time they give close up shot of the food. Damn.

I was sceptical about this show before, but now it seems so promising.
