Sato Tatsuo caused accident which lead to death of his colleagues. He can't deal with it, so he quits his job. While wandering aimlessly in town, he meets Oshiro Takuji in pachinko parlor. The two hit well and Takuji takes Tatsuo home where he lives with ill father, ambivalent mother and beautiful older sister, Chinatsu.

Tatsuo falls in love with Chinatsu and feels he's something to protect now. A new light rise in his gloomy life.

Wow to the casts! I won't skip this movie. However, drama is not my thing. It's kinda slow and nobody is really cool here. hah
