Koisuru Eve

This special drama reminds me of old romantic movie, Love Actually. Without really focusing on a single character, this drama follows some people’s struggling to reach meaningful Xmas Eve. It’s all about being with your most important person(s).

Now, how do I start this? Since everybody is connected I’m afraid of spoiling the connection. Let’s just begin with Junpei. His character’s name is Gakkun, a depressed young man who just left his girl friend because she was too busy at work. Note, he was the one who dumped her. However, he just can’t moving on, so he decides to write a love letter, put the letter in a bottle and hang it on Duffy doll’s neck. He poured his true feeling inside.

But, the next day (the day of Xmas Eve), the doll is gone! His niece accidentally bring it to her kindergarten. Gakkun chases the doll with all his might, but he’s always too late. It’s been passed to another persons. *this reminds me a cute manga about Terapanda*
Will he be able to regain the doll?

So, what about Nozomi?
Her story is quite different. She’s a gloomy girl who works at gift shop. She’s in charge in wrapping gifts. As Christmas coming closer, the job seems endless. The guy who promised to go on Disneyland’s date is already forgot his promise and she’s too busy with her mind that she put wrong address to the gift. Her boss instructs her to deliver the present by herself before 6. She drags the delivery man to help her with promise to give him the Disneyland’s tickets. This man is unbearably positive about everything which irritates her. But, he’s really a good guy.

Other than the two stories, there’s also a patissier who’s busy with her work even though her son is waiting at home; a bossy announcer who keeps meeting a strange man on interview site; a rock star who doesn’t get job lately; a manager who strives on her utmost to bring the job; and a clumsy producer who keeps making typo. it’s so love actually, right? *wink*
