“Death is not the end”

In Japan, 170.000 bodies are discovered annually. There are onley 170 doctors who can perform autopsies. That’s why, as much as they can, police try to avoid autopsy.

But, Professor Odate, a forensic who studied in America, doesn’t think that way. Autopsy is a must to collect accurate data of one’s death. Living her own idealism, she makes conflict with local authority in judging a case.

What I learn from this dorama is presumption is something you need to double-re check. Kamatsuda thinks that dominant woman like Odate is a lonely wolf, but she’s actually leading much normal life with understanding husband, cute son and nice mother. On the other side, cute Kamatsuda finds it difficult to relate to the doctor she’s crushed on. Still, she brags of going on date with him.

It’s funny that the leading sentences of this dorama resembles Ishihara Satomi’s old series, Voice. But, her being her usual lousy character is always my favorite, though I never imagine her as police inspector. ha. She’s too attractive and funny.
