Meguru Mio (24 yo) is really sucked in life. In order to spoil her boyfriend, she borrows from a shark loan. She takes blame for his missed at work, so she's fired. On top of that, he actually has another girlfriend and refuses to marry Mio.
Can you imagine a young girl being that stupid nowadays?
Well, I can. and I pity her. In this story, I'm not the only one pitying her, though. A group of youkai takes her in and let her stay in their sharehouse. They are Oiwa san, Zashiki Warashi, Nurahriyon, and Shuten- Doji.
Somehow, they get along well and they end up helping her overcome her problems. In the end, living with these youkai teach Mio how to be an independent person.
It's only 8 episodes and you bet it's very comical. However, thanks to each actor's amazing play, it's flow perfectly. No lag between each act as everyone seems to be able to balance each others. It's a perfect Japanese comedy.
Even the song blends well. And I just trauma watching the Wotakoi live-action movie where the songs ruin the show. But, here, Zashiki Warashi sings to introduce each youkai in traditional music style and it's very beautiful.
The comedy is on point. I repeat. it's on point. But, the way it touches social issue is what makes me smitten.
Also, all the toku cast guest? You won't be dissapointed.
