First, the ML and FL are so good. Not only the visual but also the actings. For all this time, I get stuck with the image of Yuan Bingyan as Er Ye's wife. But, here she convinced me that she can wear another mask.
This is my first time watching Cheng Yi. Tbh, he's not my type of ikemen. He's quite bland, I like a cutesy boy. But, wait until he smiles...o God.
Second, FL is badass and he's the one who suffer.
I'm quite picky when it comes to gender roles. We've seen a lot of heroine crying and suffering for love, but here Sifeng is the one doing all the misery. In a complicated story, the plot could slip. Conversations could be missed. But, Love and Redemption keep every line connected.
