Yuri Rintaro used to be the chief of the First Investigation Division in Tokyo. But now he works as a criminal psychologist, a consultant to the police. One day, his assistant receives a challenge letter from handle name Hana Dokuro (Flower Skull), leading the consultant to the scrapyard where he found a stabbed woman inside a fridge. Yuri Rintaro follows the address where they picked the fridge just to get another body. This time, a dead body of old scientist named Kusaka. Next to his corpse is a skull with pot marigolds.
Hmm, Kikkawa Koji is so stiff. I notice he even found difficulties in using gloves before checking the victim. Is it because of old age? It doesn't seem like the character has been doing criminal investigation for years to me.
The style of this drama is similar to any Kindaichi drama. A bit slow, but the audience is taken together to each fragment of details. But, I've been watching some dramatic drama lately, I found this a bit boring. I hope it can raise the tension in the next episodes.
