Thousands of years ago, an alien ship from Penglai Planet crashed on earth. Pieces from the ship turned into jades and the energy within it can infect humans with obsession. They become spirits manipulated by their desire. The ship’ survivors—called heavenly soldiers— hunt them to reclaim the power.

Bai Qi was a spirit. He falls in love with a heavenly soldier, Xiao Zhou. But, tragedy separates them and now he lives to cure spirit.

He lives through the eras but never expected to meet a girl Xiao Zhou in modern times. Her name is Lin Xia. In the beginning, he was just helping her to take back her house after being hypnotized by a spirit. He then realizes this girl possesses weird power: she can use the tools left by Xiao Zhou. Could it be that she's his lost lover?

The idea of Penglai power instigating people's desire kinda reminds me of Kamen Rider OOO. It boosts people's wish and enables them to do extraordinary things to fulfill their desires.

The casts are so cute. It's my third time watching Bai Yu's project, but I only finished Detective L. I hope this one can be as amusing as that one. Well, at least it has romance and comedy blended together. He looks good with a suit, that's for sure.

The female lead, Zheng Qiu Hong, kinda resembles Joe Chen. What do you think? So cute and she has a bright smile. I never saw her before but I like her acting here.
