Igarashi Iori is a radiographer. He comes back to work in Japan, hoping to see his first love, Amakasu An. Unfortunately, the dream girl doesn't recognize him. But, now she's the radiologist who analyzes radiographer's work. He has a lot of time to reminiscence their childhood. 

Igarashi is not a successful radiographer. He keeps being fired from his last jobs, but he's very keen perception and ability to see things from different angle. Radiographers are not valued as doctors, because they "only" do examinations. This creates a power map in the hospital where radiologists must do the doctors' instruction. However, good examinations determine better judgment, thus radiographer's ability is significant. Igarashi Iori doesn't hesitate to voice his idea in order to make the best scan.
