This pathetic situation actually leads to the breakup of Xiao Yan’s engagement to Nalan Yanran. Nalan is the top clan whose leader, Nalan Jie serves as Prime Minister. Nalan Jie think is not compatible with his talented granddaughter. Xiao Yan swears to revenge to those who humiliated his family. But, what can he do? He’s just a weak kid.
To be honest, I never intended to watch this. I had too many dramas ongoing, I didn’t think I have time to spare one more. But, to my surprise, it’s amazingly attractive. Not only Wu Lei being charner and I kinda ship him with every girl because they are cute; but also because the story is stable and simple. The idea of revenge is understandable. We’re lead to an unexpected adventure that’s told lightly and with a lot of humor. The most important thing is that not many political side that can make me dizzy.
Wu Lei’s accompanied by 5 people from idol group (might be more, Idk) and they’re not bad. I can’t help thinking wouldn’t it be better if they were Nine Percent? Hhaha.
