Emperor Dowager bestows a political marriage between Jin and Jiang family. Both are general families who're loyal to the Crown Prince. This marriage is hoped to stabilize his power before he takes the throne. However, the young master of Jin family, Jin Yuan Bao doesn't like to be manipulated. He insists on to not taking the Jiang girl to be his wife. Compromising to her mother's will, Yuan Bao decides to still be doing the marriage, only as a facade. He plans to divorce his wife as soon as the new king arises. On the other hand, Jiang Xiao Xuan already had a man of her dream. She runs a night before marriage.

That night, Yu Qi Ling, a girl from the mountain, trapped inside Jiang Xiao Xuan's hotel room and mistakenly acknowledged as the Jiang mistress's identity. She leads the plan to marry Jin Yuan Bao and enters the Jin Manor. Yu Qi Ling has mysterious agenda.

Jin Yuan Bao tries hard to keep distance with his wife. But, the wife is so funny, energetic, also independent. She's different from any respectable girl he knew. They soon falls in love. But, will they still standing strong when Yu Qi Ling's identity revealed? What was the reason of her sneaking out to Jin Mannor?

The first 20 episodes are so sweet. You know I like it when the hero and heroine play cat and mouse before they realize each other's feeling. Lol. Wallace Huo is best for this portrait. Well, he's been doing this kind of role for years, it becomes typical. A rich handsome man without knowledge of how cruel real world is....nah. It just like what he did in Love me If You Dare. I actually don't watch a lot of his works. But, he's good. His shy tsundere look is perfect.

Tiffany Tang Yan is very beautiful...in fact I find her look to be too perfect. Something is not right here. I'm not talking about plastic surgery. Just weird. Guess she's just not my cup of tea. The actress playing Yuan Bao's mother, Madam Jin is my kind of beauty. Such elegant look even on her 48th years. Her name is Vivian Wu.
