A postman learns that he has a terminal disease and will die soon. He, then, approaches by a devil who looks exactly like the postman. The devil offers a chance to live another day, but in return, he'll erase a thing from this world. Postman agrees.
First, he will erase phone. The postman decides to call his ex-girlfriend, reminded the time they met. Back then, the girl pressed a wrong number and got to be connected to the postman. Hearing movie voices from the phone, they began to talk a lot. The phone helped them met.
As the devil erased phone, all the memories connected to it swept away. The ex-girlfriend no longer remembers the postman. He becomes more lonely than before.
The devil proposes another erase: movie. Movie is what made postman knew his best friend in college, Tatsuya. He used to lend postman movie and swear their friendship will never end because there'll be no ending of movie productions.
In the end, postman wonders if it's worth to erase things that connect people just for an extended day of his life?
I found this quite slow and the jumping from one alternate universe to another can get confusing. Most of the scenes are gloomy, represents postman dry life. But, I don't think he's pathetic. He's just not so good with people. But, it's a good story. I find myself shed tears after watching this.
Take-chan plays 2 different roles: Introvert postman, the role reminds me of Nogami Ryotaro (Kamen Rider Den-O); and the devil who is aggressive, dominant and confidence. It's been years and he's still good.
