Sachi, Yoshino and Chika attend their father's funeral after separated for years. They come to learn about their step sister, a firm strong girl named Suzu. She's born from the father's second wife who led Sachi's parents' divorce. The three sisters invite Suzu to live with them in Kamakura and she agrees. Thus, their new life begins.

 

  

 

 

 

This is a sweet story about family with beautiful scenery here and there. The light is perfect, the road is green or pink, the beach is sparkling. This movie is like poetry to me. 

 

 

It's hard to imagine how these sisters with complicated feeling towards their father  could possibly sheltered the daughter of woman who crack their household. But, from the beginning, I sense no ill feeling from Sachi, Yoshino, and Chika. They just warmly open their hands for Suzu. Awwww
