Sakuraba Junko is english teacher in English Language Academy (ELA) from 5 pm to 9 pm. Her dream is to work in New York like his admired teacher, Kiyomiya Makoto.
One day, her parents set her up to matchmaking date with monk named Hoshikawa Takane. The monk fell in love at first sight for her when she accidentally drop ashes on his head. Junko is not interested in the monk, even though he's graduated from todai and will be the next chief priest of such a great temple. However, Hoshikawa keeps pestering her, therefore he manages to be next to her on her bad days.

I've been waiting for Satomi to get back to this kind funny role. Seriously annoyed of her character in Dear Sister and Shitsuren Chocolatier. Her greatest charm is the the fast talk, especially when talking to herself. This Junko girl is really amusing.

I kinda dishearten when they cast Yamapi to be Junko's love interest. I'm still afraid he would ruin everything. But, thank God, they just give him a role where he doesn't need to be so brilliant. His stiff acting is actually what it takes to be the awkward monk. Another concern is when Furukawa Yuki joins the cast. Hmmm, his acting level is nothing more than Yamapi. But, he pulls the character of Junko's high school friend pretty good. I can't help but laugh when his character is the student in ELA. It's the opposite of his real life where I think among the other casts, Yuki has the most fluent English.
