Morita Shinichi has been dreaming of going to America. However, he feels that he needs to succeed the family business as the third generation. When his mother's condition becomes worst, Shinichi decides to end his ridiculous dream.
At the same time, Shinichi's old classmate, Ito Kana returns home for her mother's funeral. The mother ran the only cosmetic shop in their little town. It's been years since she left Okuhida and stays in Tokyo. Kana had traumatic childhood because she was bullied in school. But, now the people wants her to continue her mother's foot steps.
Kana is then approached by Kotani Yoshio who wants to revive the town's tunnels. Kana remembers when the guy made used to make ghost train. Now, he wants to create new attraction in the same tunnel to attract more visitors to their little town Okuhida. By the help of fellow town people, Kotani creates rail biking and opens the new tourist spot.
It's about the guy who wants to go but think that he shouldn't and the girl who never wanted to come back but she's forced to. Well, life is never as you planned it. It's not a train rail, which has definite destination. Sometimes, we're stuck or afraid to face our dream so we stray from the path. But, just like everybody else, we just need a push.
