Kagawa Makoto is the new transferred student in Omotesando High School. Her parents used to study here and joined choir club. Now that the parents decide to divorce, Makoto tries to flashback the memory of those two. However, the club is close to death as only 3 members left. Makoto starts promoting, hoping to recruit new member. But, her passionate will bothers the popular students and they turns her into object of bullying. Will that stop her?
Well, I don’t like bullying story. That’s the main reason I stopped watching Gakko no Kaidan last season. It’s tiresome. However, the part where Makoto counters the effect of bullying is a bit more realistic here. No dramatic scenes like GnK and I think I can chew it right.
The main attraction is when they perform. I fall in love instantly when Makoto and other choir club members sing Judy and Mary’s Over Drive. The old song sounds so beautiful in ensemble. *Can’t blame Junjun to shed a tear listening it. I cry myself*.
There are not many musical drama lately. The last one is Kaeru no Ojosama and it’s as beautiful as this one. But, this one has more familiar cute faces. ha!
