It's the remake of German television series Der letzte Bulle (2010), but somehow I feel it's more Captain American style. Karasawa san plays Kyogoku Kyosuke, a rookie hot blooded police man who was only 22 when accidentally fall into coma due to bomb explosion. Surprisingly he regains consciousness, but only after 30 years. Confused, he runs from hospital just to found that his house has different name and that his wife is remarried to his junior, Suzuki Makoto. Also that his daughter doesn't even know him anymore. She was too young to remember her daddy.
While trying to sort things of his life, Kyogoku is taken back to the force. He's paired with young detective, Mochizuki Ryota. Unlike his senpai, Ryota is reserved and calm.
Well, well, I think this dorama focus a lot on Kyogoku's private life than cracking criminal case. But, I don't mind. As long as I can ship Kubota and Nozomi. haha.
