It's started from a  story by a radio listener. He saw a woman in white dress let her red umbrella to be crushed by car. The brain scientist, Mitarai Kiyoshi, listens to his story and starts to guess something is wrong. To their surprise, that woman is found dead in another's woman's house. However, they don't seem like having any relation at all. 

Mitarai's friend from police station asks their help to investigate the case. This is where the not so normal scientist shows his deduction skill.

Mitarai is like holmes with his eccentric behavior and I feel sorry for the new female detective that finds it hard to deal with him. She cries and bullies computer keyboard after arguments with Mitarai. It's really funny.

I think Tamaki Hiroshi looks amazing here. Although his outfit seems forced just to show how young and casual his character, he can't hide his age. XD. Just like Watson, Domoto Koichi plays his role as hero support. He cooks, he cleans up the house.... very homy. XD. He also writes their experience on his novel.

It's easy to label this special dorama as Japanese version of Sherlock Holmes. It makes you want to have the longer story. But, don't worry, Mitarai is having its own dorama (without Koichi, though) on 2016.
