Echizen Ryoma is the son of famous tennis player, Echizen Nanjiro. He enters Seishun Gakuen (Seigaku) after living abroad for years. Though he's only first year, he can competes with his seniors. Having Ryoma in team is a big chance for Seigaku to win the national tournament. But, will this prodigy gets his way easily?
The movie is made after the first season of Prince of Tennis Musical. Seigaku casts are the same like in the musical except for Ryoma's actor. The story is also slightly different from original manga, especially the part of that Ryuzaki girl. Well, I know it's hard to compile manga story into less than 2 hours movie. Sport manga is the hardest among all. So, if you really want to feel the sensation of Tenipuri, I suggest you reading the manga. It's one of the most popular manga afterall.
