Kamo, Kyoto e iku

Ueba Kamo despises her mother. Thus, she decided to leave Kyoto and works as government official in Tokyo. One day, her mother passed away leaving her with burden of paying the inn's debt. Kamo thinks it's best to sell the inn and gets back to her elite life. But, the more she stays, the more she understands the meaning of this inn to her mother and herself. So, Kamo takes challenge to revive it with her managerial theory. However, some modern tactics don't work for hundred years of tradition. Kamo learns to appreciate history.

I love this series, despite of not really like the main cast. The idea stunned me. We, youngsters, are always think that our ways are better paths. But, sometimes, the old practice fit the nature well. This series remind me to open up my mind widely. to not captivated in one solution, instead of welcoming various alternatives. And to understand the root makes the work easier. Also, understanding what's the meaning behind lead to joyful working.
