Hoshino Mamoru is a 39 years old production house s director. Since he doesn't want to be bothered by girl's chitchat, he decides he won't get married. But, the owner of his company, Aunty Akiko, keeps forcing him to participate in arranged married.
Mamoru is currently living with his brother, Susumu, who's undergoing a divorce process. Susumu is a playboy who keeps taking different girl to Mamoru s house every day, even though it would cause him more consolidation money to his ex-wife.
Mamoru hires maid service to clean his mansion 5 days a week. Hoshino Yuki is one of the part time maid assigned to do the job. It s been 5 years since she left her hometown in Aomori to be scriptwriter in Tokyo. But, after 16 scripts, none of them made into movie. Yuki almost gives up her dream when she learns that the owner of the mansion is the famous producer. She leaves her script hoping that Mamoru would interest.
It was the night when Yuki decides to return home that Mamoru finally calls and says he s going to use her script for his next movie. Moreover, Mamoru decides to hire her as his personal assistant to polish her skill in script writing. However, Yuki never knew that Mamoru submits the script under the name of famous scriptwriter, Takakura.
Nah, I think this dorama portrays another side of singles. I'm fed of dorama about people who really wants to get married. This one is the opposite and this gives us the other half of the story. Not everyone wants to get married for various reasons. And some people DO think that married is not the source of their happiness. Not married doesn't make someone less than other person.
