Aoshima Seisakujo is on the verge of bankruptcy due to product cut by their clients. Due to this unhealthy balanced, their main bank is reconsidering the company's lose. So, President Hosokawa decides to dissolve company's club, Aoshima Seisakujo Baseball Club to cut cost.
Well, the club is not performing well in the last 7 years, so they only make burden to the budget. But, the club is a tradition built by Aoshima, the owner. Though they don't profit, the existence itself is a glory for the company. There's no way President Hosokawa knows that. He's only been recruited 5 years ago.
Without knowing that President and other managers thrive to find solution to their loss, baseball club hires new coach that teaches them how to make it through the game.
Can you imagine how excited I am to see Ba-chon in dorama! Kyaaaaaaa! Though he only appears for seconds, I can't help but screaming.
The story itself is like combination of Hanzawa Naoki and Yowakutemo Katemasu. President Hosokawa and Director Sasai are great combo in making heart pounding scene. Their fights are full of unsuspected development and raised eye brows. On the other hand, baseball club is like a bunch of boys who only care about how to improve their skill. They don't suspect much. Other than the fact that they've been losing for years, these boys are living pretty easy life.
