“Today is over. Tomorrow will definitely come”

Kouta has been living his life half assed, having no goal. But, his peaceful days suddenly turn bitter as he’s diagnosed with cancer. The treatment is harsh, but the mental breakdown caused to the whole family is much ruthless.

In the hospital, Kouta meets Harada who’s been treated since he was little. Both share experience and support each other when one by one people around them fall and die. In this hard moment, Kouta realizes the most important thing in his life....

Well, the idea is nothing new, though. I’ve seen dozens of dorama/movie with a sick people’s struggling till the last minutes. 1 litre of tears, Tokyo Tower, Sayonara bokutachi no youchien are just few of them. What’s amaze me is how YamaRyo acts much mature than his normal acting. He seems like getting better and better lately.  Can’t wait to see his next Kindaichi.

I obviously think that those who are sentenced of having just little time left is lucky people. They are given chance to define how beautiful life they had. They’re given chance to feel the love of their family. They are forced to use their last days meaningfully.
On the other hand, those who don’t know their finish line, keep searching for the meaning of life. Some of us lost in the journey. More are going to wrong directions. We are not tempted to use our time wisely, because we think tomorrow will definitely come.
