The ex-convict, Soda Kousuke, opens a small coffee shop in Shitamachi, Tokyo. Though it's been long, he still can't get over the guilt and find himself repenting for his sin by helping people who come to his shop. It might look like a little meddlesome, but he gets into his regulars' lives so deep that they start relying on him.
One day, he meets nurse Kashiwagi Fuyuko. Kousuke starts falling for her, before he knows her true identity.
It's a short deep meaning series. It feels like no matter how people forgive you, if you can't let go, the pain remains.
