“Food becomes delicious when prepared for someone”

Banno Minori is Kakamigahara city staff in tourism department. Getting blow up with Korean wave, Kakamigahara aims for better publication by holding series of Korean-related event, such as Winter Sonata event. On the next food festival, the mayor accepts Minori’s idea of presenting kimchi ala kakamigahara. Though the idea born from drunken state, it’s accepted and Minori is assigned as team leader to make great original kimchi.

However, kimchi is famous all over japan, and so it’s really hard to make distinguished kimchi. Minori asks the Korean exchange staff, Lee Wonjun for advice and he claims that the food is known for mom’s taste. Minori’s mom died when she was kid, so she doesn’t even understand the meaning of mother’s taste.

Korean wave in Japan leads to this kind of show. I’m not complaining, the same things happen here where Korean stuff is everywhere you turn to.
This is the first time Oni chan (Yoonhak) stars in drama and he does needs more practice. I remember being so excited learning that he’s leading a drama, but nobody subs it till today. I almost forgot and Oni chan doesn’t have this kind of hairstyle anymore due to his army service.

This is a sweet story about family love. Awww, it reminds me of my mom’s cooking.
