| Episode: 11
| OST: how beautiful you are ~ Hamasaki Ayumi
| Cast: Koizumi Kyoko | Nakai Kiichi | Sakaguchi Kenji | Uchida Yuki
Yoshino Chiaki knows loneliness very well when she decides to move to old house in Kamakura. Her neighbor is Nagakura family which consists of Wahei (50) with his daughter Erina, the twin brother/sister Shinpei (35) and Mariko (35) and Noriko (45) who sometimes comes over for dinner.
Every adult feels lonely. Whatever you do, you are lonely. Whether you are a single father with adolescence daughter, a 45 single tv producer, a 35 year old sexy angel, or a housewife. Everyone is lonely.
Chiaki finds herself dragged into this family when she can’t stop fighting with Wahei. At the same time, she’s attracted to Shinpei and starts going out with him. Chiaki thought love is over for her, but she decides to give her chance for second love.
Nobody wants to be alone. But, when you grow older, the people around decrease and you start to find your true self. I think the less crowd we suck in, the more we have time for ourselves. The more we think of our priorities. In reality, sometimes we end up alone. But, being with lots people don’t guarantee the loneliness casted away, though. Nagakura family consists of many people, but still each of the adult feel loneliness, right?
The best thing is to accept that loneliness is part of our life. We were born alone (well, except for the twins, like me or Shunpei-Mariko), so being alone should be our nature. Still, people is fragile being. We can’t stand alone, tha’s why we make contact. Just remember that no matter what we do, there’ll be time to feel lonely. It’s like a rain coming from the sky. So natural.
