The White Storm 2: Drug Lords (2019)

Tin and Dizang used to work for the same gangster gang, Ching Hin. The leader made clear no member should involve in the drug business. But, Dizang found it very alluring and he broke the rules. Tin cut his finger and the leader kicked him out of the gang. Angry Dizang builds his own drug emporium and becomes the richest drug lord eyeing by the cops.

15 years later, Tin successfully rise as an entrepreneur and donated funds to eradicate drug dealing. His father was a junky and he knows clearly how that ruin the family. He found that his ex-wife bore a son who's now a drug user. Unfortunately Tin can't save his son when he fell from the roof.

Tin starts a more aggressive way to fight the drug business. He hires people to crush drug dens.

What's new from this movie? Nothing. It's so similar to movies I watched when I was a teenager. I was wondering why Hong Kong likes to make this kind of movie? Is it really that bad there? The drug business?

But, if you're here for the action, you won't be disappointed. This movie features the crude Hong Kong movie action style: gang shooting, car chasing, hitting people...are all so up close and detailed.
