Princess Rong Lee tries to run from her wedding. But, she was caught and wounded, resulting in her losing memories. But, it doesn't stop empress dowager to send her to form marriage alliance to the Northern Lin.
However, Prince Li (Wu You) rejects her in front of Northern Li's emperor and all officials. Rong Lee doesn't want to be defeated in front of that cocky prince, she proposes a deal to wait for half a year. If he still won't marry her in the next 6 months, she's willing to marry someone else.
Rong Lee has another agenda: finding the book of mountains and rivers. Rumors said the book contains meticulous information that would benefit a nation's strategy. If she could get her hand to it, she might be able to return home and equipped her country with better defense. Thus, she doesn't have to be married to that arrogant prince.
She takes the identity of the tea house owner, Man Yao. Tea lover Prince Li falls for her without knowing that she is the princess he rejected.
I think Aarif Lee is really good at action scene. He looks bulky in the robe. hahaha. And Jing Chao looks so much better in variety than in this series. It must be the lighting, it makes him looks older. While Sophie Zhang...this is the first time I see her. At first, she doesn't look like the main character. But, her face fits to portray a woman with guts.
