Edward Elric and his brother, Al, are traveling to find Philosopher's stone. They believe that the magic item will return Al body and Ed's limbs which were lost when they tried to revive their dead mother. To gain military secret information, Edward becomes State Alchemist and dubbed as Full Metal Alchemist.
Following the Philosopher's stone's trail, Ed and Al learn about mysterious powerful creatures. Colonel Mustang recognizes them as Homunculi, the artificial human made by the philosopher's stone. These creatures have immersed regeneration ability, making them hard to kill. And they want Ed's life to sacrifice in order to boost Philosopher's stone's power.
Gosh, I've been waiting for this movie...like forever. I even rewatched FMA Brotherhood while waiting. It's such brilliant story and they're close to making a perfect live action. No, I'm not trying to spoil the fun. But, let be honest: the casts are perfect except for Winry, right? Honda Tsubasa can't catch up with the rest, in term of acting or resemblance with original character. I was hoping a chubby cute actress with smooth speech. ha ha.Well, you can't have everything, ha?
This is supposed to be an adventure of two brothers, but Al was left in the middle of the story to give room for Ed-Winry pair. I get it, they want to push that part, but there's no romance and Honda Tsubasa's wrong emotions kill the feeling. Ooooh, I wish they stick to focus on Ed and Al. *sobs*
