Kashiwagi Yuri comes back to her hometown and becomes substitute teacher in her middle school. She comes to take over her old friend, Matsuyama Haruko's post who's having maternity leave. Kashiwagi used to be called genius pianist, but due to certain reason she stops playing. Now, she's a grumpy woman who hardly open to anyone.
She is also given responsibility to become advisor of chorus club. They're planning to join competition soon. But, the plan is in threat because Kashiwagi lets the boys joining in. Since the club was originally only consists of girls, this idea turns club into disaster.
However, the more they interact, Kashiwagi and the students learn about each other problems. Life is not easy for everyone. Even so, one shouldn't give up.
It's not a romantic movie, although I kinda hope to see some cute scenes on Gakky and Kiriken. Huh. But, this is really good movie. I cry few times.
Sometimes we're just being too hard to ourselves and have no idea how to send S.O.S. sign. Sometimes. And when we think the world is going tough on us, it's completely wrong. Everyone else is also fighting their own battle. What right do we have to give up?
