Fujino Ryoko comes to school to feed bunnies on December 25. When she hops into backyard, she discovers dead body. It's the body of her classmate, Kashiwagi Takuya. Police announce it as suicide. But, Miyake Juri sends letters to police and school tipping that Kashiwagi was killed by three school's delinquents. Miyake and her best friend Asai Matsuko has been violated by those three and wanted revenge. As the police choose to neglect it, she sends another letter to media.
Reporters start buzzing the school and the family related to the point of making rumor's believed. Teachers and students are disturbed. People start blaming each other. When Matsuko killed in car accident, students can't take it anymore. They can't come to school happily anymore.
Ryoko suggests to hold a trial to find out the truth behind.
It's sick! People always look so empathic after somebody's gone. But, after few moments, they're happily talk about it to media. This society sucks. I think the school, the teacher and his classmates knew Kashiwagi used to be bullied, but nobody raised a word. They can only shed tears after the worst thing happen. Pathetic. I think in case of bullying, the bad ones are not only the bullies and the victim (for taking it without fight), but also the environment who let it happen.
Well, people simply doesn't want to get involve. They don't want to be the next victim.It really shapes the way we think. Even the way we communicate changes.
I did heard about this movie, but never read the synopsis until this morning when I started watching. So, I had no expectation. It's a drama, but it makes my heart doki doki. These young actors are so good. Even though it's raw, I couldn't skip the scene. Every part feels so important.
