Following the step of her father Kisaragi Toko's is now detective of homicide section of Metropolitan Police Department. As the only female in the den, she feels unconfident and hardly able to speaks her mind. 

She quickly involves in her first case: cemented murder. The killer calls and asks to talk to female officer. Toko needs to prolong the conversation so that the other police can track the call. This caller named himself Toremi and he gives various tips while mocking those detectives.

Soon after than, another body is found. The victim is on police list as witness. This leads to case 17 years ago. The case that cost Toko's father's life.
One thing about WOWOW drama: it's all about quality. Yes, it often shows serious drama, but each piece is seriously developed. The problem is there are just few of them are subbed. I consider us lucky to encounter this Ishi no Mayu.
I'm not a fan of Kimura Fumino, but I think she shows nice job portraying clumsy rookie detective. Totally love her voice when calling her shunin. I'm talking about Munetaka Aoki that got such an amazing role as chief. Remember his lameness in Border? Well, his character here is the opposite. Summary: cool, mature, and dependable. Kyaaaa.
